Amour at Tin Pan Alley

Worldly Savages

Darling, how would you like to spend Valentine’s Day? A nice romantic meal for two? [or three - Ooooh]. Or maybe an evening at the theatre? Or how about possibly some self-styled gypsy punk with a distinct London / Belgrade twist?

Oh, the latter would be simply delightful, darling.

So yeah – kick ass Colchester on the Day of Lover when Worldly Savages come to town for something of a special show down at Tin Pan Alley. Don’t go expecting power ballads and songs of everlasting love.

Live the dream; live it short and preferably with a pint in one hand and a partner for the evening in the other.

We’ll drink to that.

Chin chin.

It’s something of a coup for Colchester to land a gig by Worldly Savages next month. The pan European five-piece [nice] have gigged all around Europe, already creating a dedicated fan base across some major cities.

With 85 gigs behind them alone last year, this is a hard-working band. Anyone at Tin Pan Alley on 14th February may just find a new love. A bird in the hand, etc.

Themed as the Broken Hearted Balkan Party, passions will be there to be found and lost. Failing that then the LOVELY staff at Tin Pan Alley will no doubt be able to pour you something to mop up your sorrows.

But it shouldn’t come to that. Britain’s Oldest Recorded will become the Hotbed of Love for one night only. Play yer cards right and it may even stretch until the early hours at Tin Pan Alley before the chucking out time at 1am.

Who fancies a dance?

You asking?
